Let’s Go Out On A Date…

Ok, so is it just me…or does the form of “DATING” no longer exist?

It’s been so long since I’ve gotten the question “Can I pick you up around 7?” now its more of a text around 9:30 saying “You want to make it a Red Box night?”. Which don’t get me wrong….I’m all about cuddling and watching movies together, but that would be fine after we had a proper 1st date! You know the type of date where you guys get to discuss your likes and dislikes, your favorite foods, your parents and how you were growing up.

Also a 1st proper date will also give us BOTH the chace to see if we even want to be bothered with each other. I mean I’m easily annoyied…and I know for a FACT that I can be very annoying lol! There’s nothing worse than being at a guy house and you don’t want to be bothered with him…

QUICK STORY: I had been sleeping with this guy for a few months…one night we had sex…he woke me up with kisses…I SMUSHED HIS FACE…RUDE…hell yeah it was! But don’t be bothering me with that shit!

But yeah, like I was saying…nothing worse then being at  someone’s house, and you guys not clicking…THE WORST…espically when he drove. What’s even worse is when he thinks he’s DOING IT…and well, he’s not! (you can take “doing it” either which way you want) And to think we could have avoided all of the awkward moving around…you moving close to me…me moving to the floor and that dreaded awkwardly silent ride home IF we had just went on a proper first date!

So with that said…is the “Art Form of Dating” dead? Leave a comment and let me know what you think!

PS: Ironically I wrote this post while jamming to Miguel’s Quickie…lol all types of wrong!
